Free Dental Implant Consultations Available!

There is no doubt that dental implants can be life changing, something we have been privileged to be part of many times over the past decade. Dental implant's primary use is to support dental prosthetics.

Being part of our patient’s journey from beginning to end and watching their confidence and self-esteem grow with every stage of the treatment is what makes dentistry worthwhile.
It is an amazing choice for a single missing tooth or for someone that wears a denture and would like to experience the joy of having permanent fixed teeth again.

Our clinical team are passionate about the service they provide and this becomes evident when you meet them. If your fears and anxiety have stopped you taking the next step toward a smile you feel confident with, be assured that you are in excellent hands.

I have one missing tooth...

If you are missing a single tooth, replacing it with a single dental implant can be a very straight -forward procedure, with very little downtime. Often people think that a single missing tooth will not cause any further damage; however, once we lose a tooth, the gap can cause additional strain on the rest of our mouth, our teeth & our jaw bones!

The Benefits of this Life Changing Treatment
  • Increases confidence and self-esteem
  • Enjoy food again, no need to avoid the foods you love
  • Take part in family photographs…no more standing at the back
  • No removable dentures…you can feel the roof of your mouth!
  • Replacing teeth as we lose them can help prevent future dental problems
  • Preserve bone loss that can cause issues in the future
Once the dental implant it has been placed, a ceramic crown will be placed over it to give the impression of a natural tooth, the shade is selected based on your remaining teeth. We will, in most cases use our CEREC milling machine for these crowns which can be made in 1 hour, no waiting for two weeks for your impressions to be sent to laboratory.
The actual implants are small, titanium pegs that are placed in the jawbone. They replace what would have been the root of your natural tooth. Once the implant has been placed and a healing period successfully completed, your replacement tooth will be cemented on permanently.
The titanium pegs are very strong, which means that the implants are fixed firmly into the jaw and will integrate into your body’s own tissues, just like the teeth they are replacing.

Implants can also be used very successfully when a patient is missing more than one tooth and or has larger gaps. In fact, they can also be used when all of the natural teeth have been lost. In most adults we have 32 teeth if we count our wisdom teeth, when replacing natural teeth with multiple dental implants, it is not necessary to use a dental implant for each tooth that has been lost. Your dentist will assess your mouth and diagnose how many implants will be necessary. In most cases, if a patient has no teeth and looking for dental implants and a fixed bridge as a solution they may need four dental implants in the upper jaw and four in the lower, this is commonly known as ‘All on 4’.
All on 4 is a fantastic option for a patient that is wearing a full, full denture and wants their life back.

When a patient is missing three or four teeth on one area, they may only need two implants to secure their permanent option. Arranging a free consultation is always encouraged, it will give you the opportunity to see if you are suitable for it and what your options are. It may be that you have made enquiries in the past and told you are not an ideal candidate; if that is the case, please do not be put off, treatments have advanced so much in the past few years, this may no longer be the case.
